El Maguey Mexican Restaraunt

2638 Charles M Lankford Junior Memorial Highway Exmore, VA 23350-2604 (757) 442-2900

This small restaurant doesn't draw you in by a glitzy look. It is basic roadside architecture that looks like it's been a food-stop for decades. What it lacks in glamor it more than makes up with really good Mexican dishes, efficient service and very reasonable prices. It has limited seating (perhaps 10-12 tables) and a take-out window. If you get there after 6pm you'll likely have a wait for a table (seating available) but it will be worth it. On Rt. 13 (aka Lankford Highway; one light North of Rt. 183)
