You Should Bring:
•    bathing suits and beach towels
•    bikes if you’re picky
•    sand chairs
•    laundry detergent (if you’re avid towel washers!)
•    insect repellant (if you’re going woods-exploring)
•    cash (some smaller restaurants/venders do not take credit cards) (and you’ll WANT to get some shrimp or scallops from Tim, up on rte 13, and visit the Exmore Diner!!)
•    golf/fishing equipment
•    some of the wonderful tomatoes, squash, shrimp ($3.50/lb,, delicious!!) or scallops or clams, pre-caught fish , etc. that you will find at roadside venders
•    foodstuffs (or, there is a nice Food Lion within 10 miles.  Suggestions: get Old Bay Seafood spice, seafood frying breading, oil, shrimp cocktail sauce, butter, popcorn, and easy fun foods like hamburgers, Italian sausage, salads, etc.
•    organic - Quail Cove Organic Grocery Store in Machipongo offers a nice variety of cheeses, cooking ingredients, seasonal vegetables and much more.  Food Lion also has an organic food department.
•    charcoal & lighter fluid for the grill
•    water shoes (or old tennis shoes) for wading; perhaps blowup floats for in cove
•    wonderful vacation attitudes!
